Vuelta a Svalbard
Un ano despues hemos vuelto a Spitsbergen, la isla principal de archipielago de Svalbard. Antes de nada disculpar los errores en el texto pues escribo con un teclado noruego donde faltan algunas letras y tiene otras como esta: ø, o esta otra:å.
Los consejos del piloto del helicoptero que nos rescato el ano pasado fueron providenciales: El ano que viene os quiero volver a ver en Svalbard! Yo le miraba con los ojos tristes y los dedos de los pies congelados. Pero lo hemos hecho y aqui estamos de nuevo.
Manana comenzamos un nuevo viaje de los siete de hielo. Esta vez queremos llegar a la poblacion exclusivamente cientifica de Ny Ålesund desde la capital de Spitsbergen: Longyearbyen. Es una ruta de unos trescientos kilometros y en ella se atraviesan ciudades abandonadas, barcos barados en el hielo, y zonas de banquisa.
DE momento hace bastante mas calor que el ano pasado y el tiempo es bastante bueno. Este ano intentaremos hacer un seguimiento mas cercano de la expedicion y a traves de esta web podreis observar nuestra progresion en un mapa actualizado a diario via satelite. Si no funciona muiy bien os pedimos paciencia pues se trata del primer ano que hacemos algo parecido y seguramente dara algun que otro problemilla.
