El sábado salgo finalmente para Svalbard. Va a ser un viaje lento pues empezaré cogiendo un barco de Honningsvag a Tromso (19 horas.)Haré noche en Tromso, que es una ciudad preciosa y lo más parecido a una metropoli en muchos kilometros a la redonda.
Y al día siguiente por la noche vuelo a Longyearbyen, Svalbard.
La intención allí es la travesía longitudinal de la isla de Spitzbergen. 600 km por un terreno muy variado del Artico. Banquisa, glaciares, montañas. Un sueño que llega el tiempo de hacer realidad junto a mi compañero Hilo Moreno.
Hoy he salido a entrenar y he querido filmar algo para enseñaros dónde y cómo, aunque yendo solo no es fácil manejarse...
Esta expedición no sería una realidad sin la ayuda de nuestros patrocinadores. Si alguna vez habeis tenido que bregar en tales suertes ya sabreis que no es tarea fácil. Nosotros hemos tenido reuniones que no llegaron a puerto alguno y otros que despues de prometer el oro y el moro dan la callada por respuesta. Así es la vida, no hay rencor.
